Heather is our Financial Manager. Her favourite comics include The Unwritten and The Legion of Super-Heroes, and her favourite characters include Wolverine and Mystique. Two movies she’ll never tire of watching are Back To The Future and Anne of Avonlea. When Heather met Adam, she was an avid reader, devouring many a fantasy novel. When they married, her eyes were opened to comic books, and she’s never been the same since. If she could be a super-hero she’d be Supergirl.
Adam is our Director of Web Development and Media Production. He’s worked in e-commerce since 2006 and has lengthy experience in multi-media businesses. He got his start with the Archie comics his mom brought home. His favourite characters include Cole MacGrath, Starkiller, Batman, John Simon, Spider-Man and Hellboy. Lately, Adam has been reading a lot of smaller press books with great interest, such as The Sword, Locke and Key, and Irredeemable.
Ian is our Editor-in-Chief. Born in England he moved to the US in 2009. He worked in comics retail with LiveWire World for five years and was a reviewer for Comics International from 1998-2009. His favourite super-heroes include Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Princess Leia, Nightcrawler, Dazzler, Doctor Who, Squirrel Girl, Oracle and Black Widow.. He’s a self-confessed Gleek who loves karaoke. He loves the music of Tori Amos, Cathy Bonner, Kirsty MacColl, Maddy Southorn and Lady Gaga, the poetry of Helen Kitson, the art of David Mack, the films of Mike Leigh and the comics of Ed Brubaker, Mike Carey, Terry Moore, Posy Simmonds, Brian K. Vaughan, Chris Ware and Andi Watson.
Rebecca is our Head of Customer Satisfaction. She grew up in Maryland and started reading comics in 2005 with Young Avengers and Runaways. She particularly loves The Walking Dead, Fables, horror movies, Chopped and True Blood. Rebecca knew she would marry Ian on their second date. He took a bit longer to figure it out. Rebecca is constantly refining her plans to survive the impending zombie holocaust.
Lydia, Colin, Spencer and Logan complete our geeky little family. We hope you’ll be part of our extended family too. Together we are HAIR comics.
